-New hunting mechanics

All 14 weapon types have new moves and combos. Each weapon now has more unique actions than ever before. You can now use the Claw Claw with all weapons, a new slingshot feature that lets you grab onto monsters. You use up stamina while holding on to a monster, but this opens up a whole new way to influence its movements.

-New quest difficulty: Master Rank!

In addition to the low and high rank, there is now a new quest difficulty, the Master Rank!

Master Rank quests become available once you purchase the Iceborne expansion. You can then earn new materials on these quests and fight even stronger monsters.

-New region: Raufreifen

An unknown environment that is still unexplored. The Raufreifen is home to many different native life forms and monsters that could only develop in such a harsh climate. It has varied geographical features, from deep snowfields that hinder your movement, to relaxing hot springs to unstable soils that can collapse at any moment! The graphic effects are more detailed than ever in the Monster Hunter series!
